SO WHAT...I FINALLY Started my period. Only Four days late. WTF?
SO WHAT...I went to see RE this am for a vaginal scan...(Sounds fun on CD1)
SO WHAT...I have a cyst and have to take a month off of TTC...so no IUI in March
SO WHAT...I am 41...not much time left...tick, tock, tick, tock
SO WHAT...I will be having a box o'wine this weekend...the weekend starts today right?
SO WHAT...I need to reduce my stress...maybe I will quit my job?
SO WHAT...I have lost my mind.
SO WHAT...I am really looking forward to running tomorrow. If I am not knocked up I can run!
SO WHAT...the dr told me to only run three miles...I don't care. I NEED the pavement under my feet.
SO WHAT...I have towels in my dryer since Monday.

Oh Nuts - the weekend variety
so, my pregnancy test was negative. I didn't start my period. I finally did begin spotting this morning. I am going to the dr Wednesday morning for a scan. Yippeee...we get to do this process all over again.
Last evening, Jeff and I ordered Chinese food for dinner. Jeff got the Chicken Lo Mein, I got the Bourbon chicken...After Jeff finished he said his mouth was tingly, I looked over at him and his lips and cheeks were puffy. (he is allergic to nuts) He wasn't having issues breathing. I asked him if he wanted me to give him the Epi-Pen. He didn't. I convinced him that we needed to go to the emergency room. So at 7:30 we headed over. By 8:00 PM, he had Epinephrin, Pepcid, Zofran, Benedryl and Prednisone. Then we were told we needed to stay for observation for four hours...so we waited. Thankfully his vitals were all great through this process. We were able to watch The Apprentice together! At midnight I thought we would be able to go but I am guessing they forgot about us and we were finally discharged by 1:15 am. Then we had to go to the pharmacy to get his prescriptions filled...we finally got home around 2:00 am and finally to bed a little before 3. When that alarm went off this am, I was dragging already. Jeff called off and when I left he was resting at home with both dogs curled up by him.
It was scary, but thankfully, in a former life I worked for an allergist so I knew the protocol. So that was good for me! Jeff knew what was going to happen since he has been through this before about 10 years ago. So when I get home I am ridding the house of peanut products. There are a couple of small jars of peanut butter. Two are unopened, so I will give those to someone.

POTW: Philosophy Vanilla Birthday Cake
So, I celebrated my birthday a couple weeks ago and my brother and his girlfriend sent me a birthday package filled with all sorts of lovely items...my favorite is Philosophy Vanilla Birthday Cake Shower Gel. Oh how lovely it smells. It feel great on your skin. It is not overpowering but oh so fabulous! I would actually recommend ALL Philosophy products. Thus far I have not been disappointed in anything I have gotten from them.
Last week, I was told of Clinique's EVEN BETTER FOUNDATION. Well, I went and got some the other night. So far I am liking it. These fertility meds are doing a number on my skin so I got the concealer as well. If I didn't have a nice big cold sore (which I am also blaming on the medicine) I would take a picture of myself.
